Alpine Skiing: Foundational

A foundational level skier has grasped the initial basic skills of a beginner and is now working on refining those skills, building confidence, and expanding their comfort zone to tackle slightly more challenging slopes and techniques. The term "foundational" emphasizes the importance of building a solid base of skills before moving on to more advanced skiing. The goal is to become an advanced skier confident in all terrain and most conditions, fully parallel and carving prior to entering the next phase of programming, Jr Development & Development Teams for Freeride Sport.
